We are delighted to announce that The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions. The MOU was signed by Prof. Eric CHUI, Head of the Department of Applied Social Sciences at PolyU, and Prof. Edgardo Carlo L. VISTAN II, Chancellor of UPD.

Caranza, UP Diliman Information OfficeThis MOU establishes a framework for cooperation in joint research projects, student and staff exchanges, service‑learning initiatives, and participation in academic visits and educational programmes. It also encourages both universities to explore collaborative opportunities in conferences, seminars, workshops, and other academic activities that promote knowledge sharing and global engagement.
Jointly led by PolyU’s Department of Applied Social Sciences and UPD’s College of Social Work and Community Development, this partnership opens new pathways for innovative and impactful collaboration between the two institutions. It further underscores PolyU’s dedication to building strong regional networks and driving excellence in research, teaching, and community-engaged practice.
