使命和目标

北京大学-香港理工大学中国社会工作研究中心，英文名称：Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University China Social Work Research Centre，由北京大学与香港理工大学共同筹建，致力探讨中国社会工作理论与实践研究的道路，丰富、发展和完善本土中国社会工作专业的理论与实践知识体系，提高社会工作专业解决社会问题和参与社会发展的能力。同时，中心也希望通过学术研究与专题项目的开展，培养理论与专业水准兼备的社会工作及社会政策研究人才。

中心立足于中国本土社会，运用多学科交叉的研究方法，探讨中国经济和社会发展以及社会政策与社会工作专业化过程中的重要理论及实践问题，注重学术研究与实践应用的结合，推动社会工作研究服务于社会。中心与政府、高校等相关机构紧密合作，提供高水准的社会服务管理、社会工作教学及实务的培训，积极推动中国社会工作的发展和进步。

中国社会工作期刊

是一本同侪评鉴的国际学术期刊，旨在鼓励社会工作理论和实践、社会工作教育、社会发展，以及具有国际和中国背景的社会政策问题。

IASSW-CSWE 中美社会工作教育合作项目

“合作专案”于2012年正式启动，涉及七所美国社会工作高校和IASSW-CSWE 中美社会工作教育合作项目，“合作项目”于2012年正式启动，涉及七所美国社会工作高校和对应的七家中国高校机构，每组高校可自由探索有效的合作方式。这些高校合作伙伴“从（专案）实际情况出发”，开展了一系列良好的社会工作实践。合作项目历时五年，包括教师、行政人员和学生的交换学习；辅导和谘询；研究基础设施建设；课程开发等。下载中美社会工作教育合作项目外部评估总报告。

IASSW 国际社会工作联盟大中华及东南亚区域资源中心

国际社会工作教育联盟（International Association of Schools of Social Work，简称IASSW）是全球社会工作教育及研究的学术团体，也是联合国的学术谘询机构。该联盟旨在促进世界各地社会工作教育的发展，以提高社会工作教育的品质，鼓励国际交流，并通过政策和宣传活动，促进人权和社会发展。国际社会工作联盟大中华及东南亚区域资源中心揭牌仪式于2016年3月11日在北京大学举行，这一仪式标志著北京大学-香港理工大学中国社会工作研究中心正式成为该区域资源中心，有利于进一步促进内地社会工作的发展同时也提供了一个很好的平台。

凯瑟克基金会

凯瑟克基金会为中心社会工作教育、实务以及研究的发展提供持续的资助。未来三年内，凯瑟克基金将支持中心在社会工作教育、青少年与家庭社会工作、农村社会工作以及农民工社会工作等重要领域进行高水准的研究、培训与实务发展，以促进中国社会工作教育、人才培养以及本土理论和实务的发展。

林护社会工作培训及发展基金

林护基金会支援中国社会工作专业与人才发展，中心在“林护社会工作培训与发展基金”的资助下，举办了多项社会工作培训和专业发展活动，以回应因社会工作急促发展带来的人才培养之需要。利丰中国社会政策研究基金，旨在促进和巩固社会政策研究，并推动社会工作及社会政策专业人士和从业人员在中国大陆的发展。

经纶慈善基金

在经纶慈善基金的资助下，中心建立“利丰中国社会政策研究基金”，通过不同的研究专案推动社会政策的研究和制订，促进中国的社会发展和社会进步。过去的几年间，香港理工大学应用社会科学系及北京大学社会学系以利丰中国社会政策研究基金的名义进行了一系列的研究、课程培训及出版专案。

择善基金会与思源基金会

思源基金会、择善基金会向北京大学-香港理工大学中国社会工作研究中心定向捐赠善款，作为科研储备基金，支援社会工作学术研究、培训与国际合作等，促进中国社会工作的国际影响。

暑期学院

在2006年至2010年，中心与美国圣路易士华盛顿大学乔治沃伦布朗社会工作学院及北京大学社会学系合作，举办一年一度的暑期学院，为中国大陆和海外的学者，提供交流的平台，主力探讨老龄问题、社会发展、精神健康和农村社会工作。
